Tori Muhammad: Writer, Observer, and Cultural Translator
I’ve been writing since childhood before it was the cool thing to do—back when my biggest dilemma was whether to use a gel pen or a No. 2 pencil. Before Microsoft Word was a thing. Growing up between Tribeca and Queens, I was surrounded by a whirlwind of cultures, conversations, and the occasional unsolicited life advice from neighborhood aunties and uncles. Naturally, I developed a keen eye for human interaction and a knack for turning observations into compelling narratives.
Now I am auntie for the culture. Armed with a degree in Humanities and Social Science, I specialize in dissecting culture, storytelling, and making sense of the beautifully chaotic human experience. Need something described with precision? A complex idea translated into plain English? A job manual that doesn’t read like it was written by a malfunctioning AI? That’s where I come in.
I write because people deserve to be understood—whether it’s through sharp analysis, vivid storytelling, or simply putting into words what others can’t quite articulate. Because good writing shouldn’t require a second mortgage, I offer my services at rates that won’t make your wallet cry.
If you need words that work, let’s talk.
